The satirical news site The Babylon Bee‘s editor-in-chief Kyle Mann, has been locked out of Twitter for what the social media platform calls “hateful conduct.” This after the Bee was banned for a similar offense. However, both of the “offenses” were jokes.
Following the suspension of The Babylon Bee, Mann tweeted that perhaps Twitter would allow Mann back into the account “if we throw a few thousand Uighurs in a concentration camp.”

Mann’s tweet was likely in reference to the large number of Chinese propagandists officially associated with the Chinese Communist Party, who are able to openly deny the established genocide in China of the country’s Muslim minority, and do so on Twitter.
The Babylon Bee‘s Twitter account was suspended on Sunday for “hateful content” after posting a joke poking fun at US Assistant Health Secretary Rachel Levine, a biological male who identifies as a woman. The joke called Levine the satire website’s “Man of the Year.”
The post was made after USA Today listed Levine as one of their “Women of the Year.”
Dillon was told that the account would be restored in 12 hours, but only after the tweet was deleted. Dillon said that the tweet would not be deleted, saying that “truth is not hate speech.”
“If the cost of telling the truth is the loss of our Twitter account, then so be it,” Dillon tweeted on Sunday.
